Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

At Lockheed Martin, we're delivering integrated global solutions that enhance decision-making in real time. Our Global Command and Control (GC2) portfolio equips customers with secure, mission-ready systems that drive strategic advantage across domains. As part of the C4ISR mission area within Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), GC2 is focused on enabling global situational awareness, interoperability, and mission effectiveness.

THE WORK

As a GC2 Project Mgr, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Command & Control Program Director in managing the execution of critical programs and initiatives. This is a high-impact role that offers exposure to senior leadership, OneLM transformation efforts, and cross-functional collaboration across RMS and beyond. In this role, you will:

Review project statuses, including budgets and schedules, and prepare comprehensive updates for senior leaders.

Manage key GC2 initiatives aligned with strategic growth, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Use Agile tools (such as Confluence, GitLab, Microsoft Teams) to streamline workflows and information sharing across the portfolio.

Assess program challenges and develop effective solutions that support GC2 goals and milestones.

Identify and drive synergies across the GC2 portfolio, including areas that could benefit from CommandIQ product adoption.

Partner with Program Management and Engineering & Technology teams to support multi-year IRAD (Internal R&D) planning and strategy.

Lead business rhythm activities for the GC2 submarket and broader C4ISR market, including MPRs, QPRs, and IOIs.

Collaborate across a geographically dispersed team to drive engagement and seamless execution.

Create and present briefings, reports, and executive updates that influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re a driven and detail-oriented program or project management professional with a passion for systems integration, team collaboration, and strategic growth. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing multiple priorities, and have a strong ability to lead through influence. You bring:

Excellent communication and presentation skills — both written and verbal.

Experience working in a cross-functional or matrixed team.

Familiarity with Agile tools and practices (Confluence, GitLab, Microsoft Teams).

A growth mindset and willingness to engage with senior leaders and cross-corporation initiatives.
