Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced, dedicated Linux Engineer/Administrator to join the COOLR (Combined Orbital Operations Logistics Resilience) team in Colorado Springs.

As a Systems Engineer-IT Stf, you will:
• coordinate, develop, and integrate new systems in both physical and virtualized environments
• develop and install upgrades to existing systems
• develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation
• develop and apply cybersecurity solutions
• troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system

Basic Qualifications:
• Active DOD SECRET clearance
• Must Meet DOD 8570 Requirement (current Security+ or similar)
• Strong Red Hat administration/engineering background
Desired Skills:
• Bash, Ansible, Python scripting experience highly desired
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks
• Experience using Git, GitLab, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Jira, or similar tools
• Strong understanding and application of cybersecurity practices (STIG compliance, system accreditation, etc.)
• Container experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
• Windows and/or Solaris administration experience helpful. VMWare (or other virtualization platform) administration experience
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Interpersonal relationship skills are a must.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
