- Will be responsible for directing crew personnel in support of the various missions at Cheyenne Mountain AFS.
- Act as Video Lead in his/her absence
- Ensure Video maintenance crew personnel are aware and coordinates new installations, changes, and removal of equipment
- Attend and represent work center at all meetings relevant to Video Maintenance
- Coordinate and assist in scheduling quality assurance inspections for new installations and equipment removals. - Coordinate planning, implementation, and testing for new or updating existing systems
- Maintain Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) schedule.
- Serve as Quality Control Representative (QCR)
Other: Must have a comprehensive understanding of preventive and demand maintenance techniques and remain current in ancillary training. Must be willing to work in a mixed (Government and contractor) work environment. Perform additional duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
The Qualified candidate must have the ability to install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment in support of 24X7 Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS) Video Systems Maintenance work center by performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and field locations.
- Ability to manage and supervise personnel.
- Must know how to analyze and evaluate product performance.
- Know how to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
- Install equipment upgrades and remove products for engineering field changes.
- Must have knowledge of electronic equipment fundamentals and the ability to work with various tools.
- Must have a background in hardware maintenance, including various types of test equipment
- Must be able to interface with manufacturers and vendors to obtain bid quotes for related projects
- Excellent communications skills are required to document issues/concerns and to interface with internal and external customers.

TS/SCI clearance required. Must meet DoD 8570 certification eligibility requirements. Must have excellent technical and communications skills to effectively interface with internal and external customers at all levels. Must be able to work in a high visibility environment, working with 24X7 mission availability crews, and quickly respond to customer needs.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with military customs and courtesies desired.
