THE WORK
This position will report to the Missile Defense Solutions (MDS) Director as the Executive Administrative Assistant for the MDS portfolio and Colorado Springs Site Admin Lead. The focus of this role will be on the direct support to the MDS Director and adjacent support to the MDS Leadership team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Individual will interface with cross-function executives, senior management, and administrative staff of all levels and will act as an ambassador for the Director and the site.
• The role involves a high volume of calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reporting for primarily domestic and occasional international travel. The candidate must use discretion when responding to email and in person requests and tasks. Standard administrative duties include assisting in preparation of briefing materials; set up and support of a variety of meetings and large employee meetings.
• Assures administrative detail on all projects: updates and statuses delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines; handles all inquiries as appropriate to maximize leaders' time efficiency; screens visitors to control interruptions and preserve leaders' schedules; provides meeting backup data as needed and arranges all amenities for same.
• Performs additional special assignments as required in support of program, executive staff and administrative organization.
• The successful candidate should be of a proactive mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Individual will also be responsible for site level duties such as coordinating site level events, visitors, partnering closely with facilities, security and cross functional site level leadership.

You are an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant with a deep understanding of required support to company executives. You have the ability to manage high volume administrative responsibilities, build strong relationships across the team, and drive results that support the Program Director and Director’s team.

Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office Suite such as (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) compose correspondence and create presentations.
• Executive level administrative support experience
• Experience managing executive calendars, meeting arrangements and interfacing with all levels of team members.
• Travel arranging experience with domestic and international travel as well as follow on expense reporting utilizing Concur to include reconciling corporate travel card.
• Experience with Outlook/Active Directory Resource Management for Portfolio resource accounts and distribution lists
• Working knowledge with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Concur and Internet research skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external management and administrative staff.
• Demonstrated executive presence through professional presentation and support a very professional environment
• Ability to coordinate travel arrangements and reconciliation of expense reports, both domestic and international. Concur experience a plus.
• Demonstrate/use judgment, and the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
• Must be flexible to support intermittent extended work hours, when needed, and work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated to handle and/or delegate initiatives in leader's absence.
• Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Possess the ability to work well independently and in teams and creates an approachable atmosphere.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,800 - $91,425. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
