Cyber Tester

Description:This position fulfills a Cyber technical role in support of the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in DoD operational computing environments and possess the ability to work as part of an integrated Cybersecurity team tasked with designing, engineering, testing, certifying, and delivering a secure Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) system. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity engineering, network design concepts, experience with Security Audit tools, and administration of security devices such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The successful candidate will provide unit level release testing, develop and institute test plans, all of which will involve verification testing, system test and field-testing activities. Technical document preparation and verbal communication of technical Cybersecurity issues and reports to senior government and military officials are expected to be part of daily tasks.
Frequent travel to SAFB and/or CMAFS is required to perform Agile sprint activities in C2BMC testbed (CTB).

In addition, the selected candidate will provide technical support to the C6ISR Cyber & Security Solutions Team (CaS2T) by ensuring program management and other program stakeholders are elated with performance execution and customer delivery to achieve mission success milestones.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineer Related) from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
• DoDI 8570 IAT - Level 2 cert (e.g., Sec+, etc.)
• Working knowledge of implementing Common Criteria, NIST, STIG and National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) methodologies
• Understanding of writing concise test steps and other technical documentation
• Experience communicate with system engineers, network engineers and software developers
• Knowledge of Cyber requirements that are relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation
• Domain expertise of patch management, system scanning, continuous monitoring, host-based security and multi-factor authentication
• Experience and proven technical document preparation and presentation expertise

Secret Clearance Required
Desired Skills:
• Ability to script/create automated test procedures is highly desired
• Previous experience working with Missile Defense mission systems is desired
• Familiarity with performing sprint tasks in an Agile execution structure is desired
• Systems Engineering, Network Design and/or Software Development backgrounds are a
plus
