Job ID: 559145BR Date posted: Jun. 10, 2021 Locations: Cherry Hill, New Jersey; Fort Worth, Texas; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Orlando, Florida Description:Global Supply Chain Operations is seeking a Category Manager to join the Infrastructure Corporate Agreement Team. The team is responsible for the execution and management of corporate agreements for a variety of indirect categories including ESH Remediation, facilities, office supplies, guard services, contract labor and MRO. This is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where the ability to take initiative, drive results, and effectively manage multiple competing priorities without appreciable direction will deliver successful results.

The Category Manager will
• Lead a corporate wide cross-functional team to develop category-specific supply chain strategies
• Be the responsible interface between the business areas, management and suppliers to execute these strategies across LM
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms in support of these strategies
• Execute and manage corporate agreements for the categories in accordance with LMAP, CAP and GSCO policies and procedures
• Effectively manage supplier relationships in the categories

The Category Manager will be involved in all aspects of the supply chain process, including: preparation of requirements documents, statements of work and RFPs; development of evaluation criteria; participation in bidders' conferences and supplier presentations; analysis and evaluation of proposals in support of best value procurements; price negotiations; terms and conditions negotiations; price analyses; documenting activities in compliance with policies and procedures; supplier management; as well as the management and maintenance of the corporate agreement.

Position may be located at one of the major GSCO locations: Cherry Hill, NJ; King of Prussia, PA; Fort Worth, TX; and Orlando, FL with telework >= 50% of the time. Full time Virtual may also be considered.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, the candidate will possess these basic qualifications:

• Demonstrated supply chain experience as Category Manager, Procurement Representative and/or Subcontract Administrator
• Experience executing purchase orders and/or agreements in accordance with supply chain policies/procedures (LMAP, CAP, etc.)
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
• Flexibility to adapt to change and move seamlessly between projects
• Ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization
• Customer focused, results oriented
• Motivated self-starter
• Proficient in software tools including Excel, PowerPoint and LM procurement tools (P2P)
