Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an experienced RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This exciting role offers the RF pro an opportunity to be a key contributor on our team of industry leading RF design experts.
-In this role the Senior RF Engineer will have the opportunity to support the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle.
-The engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative and ingenious.
-The engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
-The engineer will exhibit a high degree of autonomy while working Second Shift Monday through Thursday each week.
-The engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciplines as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.

The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Where can you get to from Chelmsford? Chelmsford is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the east without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Chelmsford. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north.
It should be noted that Chelmsford, Massachusetts is approximately 35 miles northwest of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire.
Basic Qualifications:
• BS degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting RF products and resolving integration issues is required.
• Experience with the use of microwave test equipment is required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills are required.
• Candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and be able to obtain at least an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.
Desired Skills:
• An MS in electrical engineering or closely related technical field is desired.
• Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry is desired.
• Experience with RF design is desired.
• Knowledge of RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits is desired.
• Experience with microwave simulation tools is desired.
• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques is desired.
• Knowledge of technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is desired.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
