Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be a Production Control Supervisor, leading a team of floor Production Planning and Control members and shipping/receiving team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of products through the production process, from planning to shipping, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Production Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the production control function, ensuring smooth product flow, and coordinating shipping of hardware. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage a team of floor Production Planning and Control members and shipping/receiving team, including hiring, manpower movement, and performance management.
• Ensure smooth product flow through the production process, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues as they arise.
• Coordinate shipping & receiving department, including scheduling, routing, and expediting shipments as needed.
• Attend production meetings and assist in setting priorities, ensuring alignment with production goals and objectives.
• Serve as a planner for sustainment work running through the shop, including coordinating with production teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance stakeholder
satisfaction.
• Provide support outside of normal business hours such as 2nd shift or weekends, as required to support production operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Strong knowledge of production planning and control principles, including scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP/Apriso or similar, is preferred.
Experience working in Production Planning and Control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Desired Skills:
Previous leadership experience.
Experience in a shipping environment.
Experience working with small components.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
