As the Systems Engineer/Reentry Technical Lead, you will work with Flight Test Reentry integration efforts to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. In this role, you will primarily focus on development, build, test and delivery of highly instrumented Reentry Bodies (RBs).

In this dynamic role you will:
• Develop and verify requirements, conduct systems engineering design reviews, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to achieve project millstones including design (mechanical, electrical, RF and Software), Flight Sciences, Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T), as well as the Navy SP28 customer.
• Work as a systems lead responsible for driving closure to all systems engineering work to support an experimental RB project.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously to ensure on time delivery of flight test RBAs.
• Coordinate with our Navy customer, co-contractors, and the FBM missile group in addition to other Reentry disciplines.
• Assist with budget and schedule planning in order to maintain program objectives.

Typical minimums to be successful in this role will include a bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Technical degree in engineering, sciences, or mathematics
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering disciplines, including requirements management, design review and/or risk management
• Experience presenting technical data to customers, management and contractors
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance clearance
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience with the ballistics missile and/or reentry body related engineering and science disciplines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of system architecture development, failure/anomaly investigations, interface requirements development, test plan/procedure development and/or trade studies.
• Active Top Secret clearance
