Description: Perform systems engineering functions in support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, Electrical Support Equipment (SE) Design. Coordinate, integrate and status Electrical SE changes and modifications. The candidate will function in a dynamic team environment and prepare, coordinate and conduct technical reviews with the customer to include a System Requirements Review (SRR), design reviews, Test readiness reviews (TRR) and Integrated Process Team (IPT) working groups. The position will require developing technical documents, interface definition, specifications, and operational concepts. Candidate will translate requirements into design concepts, integration and test plans.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of Automated test Equipment (ATE) and SE.
Experience with major technical reviews: Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc.
Strong team player, ability to understand and work with different viewpoints and values, respect for others opinions, ability to make objective decisions from diverse input and opinions. Project management experience a plus.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering degree.
Experience with requirements definition, verification and validation, System Requirements Documentation specifications (V&V, SRD).
Experience with developing operational concepts, interface definition, specifications, and technical papers and analysis.
General knowledge of the system life-cycle.
Working knowledge of electrical or electronic hardware, or software used for automated testing.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills provide effective presentations and interface directly with the customer.
