The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch (OSL). The program’s two primary operating locations are Vandenberg AFB, CA and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope includesatellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, and satellite processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services.

The System Administrator will be supporting the Information Technology (IT) Group and the Information Assurance (IA) Team.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will maintain operation of multiple computer systems, including coordination with Responsible System Engineers (RSE)
• You will support the PLSSS IT Help Desk for Lockheed Martin Network
• You will set up administrator and service accounts
• You will maintain system and cable plant documentation
• You will install system software and updates
• You will interact with users and evaluate vendor products
• You will coordinate installation and provide backup recovery
• You will assist RSE in conducting security and vulnerability scans
• You will assist RSE in conducting Continuous Monitoring activities
• You will assist the RSE in mitigating report findings
• You will ensure that Information Assurance requirements maintained for each accredited OSL system

This position will report to the Systems Engineering Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
• Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.
• Possess a current Security+ certification
• Familiar with network protocols
• Experience with IT computer system administration
• Experience with Server Administration
• Willing and able to work in a launch site environment, including ability to climb stairs
Willingness and ability to support overtime, alternate shifts, or periodic travel, if required
Desired Skills:
• Experience working Help Desk Support
• Experience with IBM Maximo
• Experience with BIRT report development
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Cloud computing
• Experience with System Technical Information Guides (STIGs)
• Experience with XACTA, NESSUS, RedSeal Cybersecurity Analytics Platform or other info assurance related scanning tools
• Experience with Information Assurance or Cybersecurity
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be detail oriented
