What does this role look like?
As a Project Engineering Associate Manager for Technical Data Products, you will lead two critical teams: a Multimedia team and a Technical Documentation Control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in multimedia design, development, and production, as well as experience in leading a team of represented workforce employees in a technical documentation control environment. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration abilities to drive the success of our documentation and multimedia efforts.
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
As a Project Engineering Associate Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of talented professionals in the development of innovative multimedia solutions and the management of technical documentation control processes.
• Directing a multimedia team to design, develop, and deliver high-quality multimedia applications, systems, and products that meet documentation and business needs, including:
• Creating engaging graphics, animations, and emulations using multiple media types, such as text, sound, and motion graphics
• Managing photography and videography efforts to capture high-quality visual content that supports documentation and business objectives
• Leading a Technical Documentation Control team of represented workforce employees, responsible for:
• Tracking and maintaining classified documentation, ensuring accountability and compliance with FBM requirements
• Coordinating shipping and receiving of documentation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes that enhance documentation control and accountability
• Collaborating with union representatives and HR to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and company policies, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for your team members.
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Cape Canaveral SFS, FL , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Experience in successfully leading multimedia efforts, including team management and project coordination
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Ability to travel occasionally, as required
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Working knowledge of FBM facility and fleet documentation, including technical manuals and other documentation types
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification, with experience in process improvement and efficiency enhancement
• Experience working with multi-functional teams, including technical, engineering, and operational teams
• FBM Missile Assembly and Fleet Operational knowledge and background, with experience in missile systems and operations
• Experience with interactive electronic technical manual (IETMs) and extended reality (XR) technologies, including virtual and augmented reality applications
• Experience with SP 201, 27, 28, and SPFC, including knowledge of program-specific documentation and requirements
• Experience with Classified Data accountability processes, including knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Knowledge of S1000D, XML, and basic structured markup languages, with experience in data management and analysis
• Ability to review and assess compliance with FBM requirements, including knowledge of regulatory and contractual requirements
• Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or other game engine technologies, with applications in simulation, training, and education
• Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and visualization, with knowledge of software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max
• Experience with virtual and augmented reality development, including knowledge of VR/AR software and hardware platforms
• Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
