For over 60 years, the FBM team has supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic deterrence.

Our facility in Cape Canaveral, FL seeks a level 3 Items Analyst/Refresh Coordinator to join our mission. As a lead support on the Provisioning and Logistics Support team you will process information assisting with assignment and analysis of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Codes (SMR) used in the development of configuration hierarchal structured Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) and Design Change Notices (DCNs) and will support the analysis of engineering drawings to determine the final parts to be provisioned. You will research parts data to identify contract required data elements for provisioned parts using on-line reference databases and other automated and manual tools. You will also develop Logistic Support Plan (LSP) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) reports.

In a typical day you will…

• Serve as a Provisioning Analyst for a group of complex secondary and major end items for the entire fleet of Utility Helicopters and have the technical ability to develop, revise, and maintain data for maintenance publications
• Develop technical data which is the source of provisioning, RPSTL and other equipment publications and maintenance programs
• Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and publications change requests for impact to maintenance concepts/philosophies
• Investigate and furnish replies to DA Form 2028s and other related correspondence
• Responsible for all initial and follow on provisioning of new and established items, to include assistance and service to supply personnel, relative to interchangeability and substitutability of parts
• Review, evaluate, accept and/or reject the provisioning data from OEM and contractors
• Verify provisioning data at contractor/government sites to ensure adequacy of technical contents
• Investigate, analyze, and correct equipment deficiencies reported by users
• Be knowledgeable of equipment requirements, policies, and procedures as they pertain to assigned system or subsystem requirements
• Be knowledgeable of database maintenance and the interfaces with LMP, PowerLOG-J, LSA-030 and LSA-036 Reports and other functions for assigned equipment
• Interface with PowerLOG-J and defense integrated data systems to process National Stock Number (NSN) requests and related maintenance activities associated with item identification and compatibility.
• Review, evaluate, accept, and/or reject the provisioning


Our level 3 employees typically have 5-10 years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum 3-6 years of prior experience working in a logistics, inventory/supply management, or design engineering type role

• Must have three (3) of the eight (7) below listed experiences to be considered minimally qualified. Six months of experience and/or training in:

o Basic understanding of computer databases
o Provisioning experience
o Critical thinking skills
o Good communication and problem-solving skills
o Ability to interpret contract data
o Ability to provide program status to upper management
o Ability to understand data elements and input data into a computer database

• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level

• Must be able to sit at a computer 9 hours/day (9/80 schedule Monday-Thursday)
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree

• Active Secret security clearance

• Experience using on-line reference databases such as WebFLIS, Haystack, Silicon, etc.

• Possess basic skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access

• Know how to read drawings

• Basic understanding of MIL-HDBK-502 provisioning processes

• Ability to work and support team members with a positive attitude

• Strong communication (both verbal and written)

• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude who is able to take ownership of projects with limited supervision

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
