The Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company (SSC) Operations organization is comprised of more than 6,000 dedicated professionals deployed to company and customer sites throughout the country. Operations touches all of SSC’s programs and products – managing our supply chain; producing, assembling, testing and transporting mission critical hardware; ensuring safety, quality and security; integrating enterprise plans; maintaining and improving our facilities; while ensuring program performance. All of the essential elements that ultimately result in the delivery of spacecraft, missiles and instruments to our customers. Every day, the work we do makes a difference.

This role specifically performs assignments in the Planning organization during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program. The planning organization prepares and coordinates plans and schedules to communicate master schedule requirements. Generates reports and develops metrics to status performance to leadership. Identifies issues and concerns, and evaluate impact to operations.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing 4 year degree in accredited institution in a Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or Project Management degree program from an accredited university or college, or similar discipline.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Supply Chain management principles, purchasing, procurement, delivery, reporting, analytics. Experience with SAP business tools. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail and quality.
