Cleanroom Technician

Description:Maintain clean room operations for launch processing operations. Cleans and keeps program support facility hardware processing, working areas and washrooms to standards specified by operational directives. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polish floors, removes chips, trash and other refuse. Dusts equipment, furniture, fixtures, polishes metal fixtures or trimmings, cleans mirrors, lavatories, showers, and restores. Perform cleaning functions in clean rooms utilizing clean room techniques, equipment and chemicals. Performs clean room inspections and documents findings to Contamination Engineer. Maintains records of daily events. Installs witness plates, fallout filters, and contamination monitoring equipment. Collects hydro-carbon filters. Exercises constant safety awareness of equipment, work area, and operations for all personnel entering clean rooms. Inspects, repair, inventory, issue, and rotate clean room garments to and from cleaners. Maintains area controls, work area rules and limit access according to the approved access list and must perform janitorial duties as well.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma
• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of janitorial type experience
• Ability to take direction and perform to exacting standards
• Ability to maintain facilities in an extremely clean status a must for this position.
• Must be comfortable working at various heights
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be a United States citizen
• Must be able to obtain, and maintain, a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance
• Ability to be trained to operate high-lifts and forklifts a must.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to be trained to operate high-lifts and forklifts a must.
• Good communication skills desired.
