Industrial Security Representative

Description:Function as an on-site Security Representative for the Air Force Special Operations Command Air Commando Training Support (AFSOC ACTS) program at Cannon AFB.

The position will be responsible for ensuring the ACTS program is compliant with security requirements set forth in the NISPOM, Air Force Instructions, DD-254, and other applicable government directives and guidance.
Duties include, but not limited to:

• Ensure 100% audit success for various government security reviews associated with the Industrial Security program
• Utilize JPAS and LMSecurity tools to complete and manage Visit Authorization Letters
• Implement and manage an inventory process of all classified material to ensure 100% accountability
• Coordinate and lead an internal security self-inspection program to include document preparation and follow-up/closure of all findings/observations.
• Develop educational material and conduct Security training/briefings
• With support from LM TLS Security Investigator, investigate security incidents and violations, assist with preparing reports of investigations for management and customers, and makes specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
• Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to interface with customers, management and employees at all levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiar with Security requirements at a customer location
• Must be a proactive self-starter with strong initiative, exemplary planning and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience managing Personnel Security duties
• Previous experience managing classified inventory
• Knowledge of Security directives and mandates that govern classified contracts
• Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
