Description:You will be the Quality Engineer for our Missiles and Fire Control team in Camden, Arkansas. Our team is responsible for producing and validating hardware for sophisticated missile systems and associated launch vehicles, utilizing state-of-the-art processes.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and reporting on quality-related activities, ensuring the highest standards are met in our operations. You will work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve technical problems, providing innovative solutions to drive quality excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Planning and executing quality control activities for raw materials, packaging materials, and purchase order requirements
-Conducting root cause analyses and monitoring corrective actions to ensure effective quality control
-Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other functions to ensure quality standards are in place
-Working with cross-functional teams to achieve long-range objectives and drive continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a STEM related discipline.

-Have knowledge of quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills

-Ability to perform floor support functions and make appropriate quality decisions.

-Good communications and presentation skills. Well versed in GD&T, interpreting drawings and standards.

-Experienced in using various inspection measurement
tools, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
including team building and collaboration.
Desired Skills:
-Manufacturing and process improvement experience.

-Defense or military contractor experience.

-Working knowledge of SAP.

-Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action Processes.

-Experience in working with MiniTab.

-Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
