Logistics Project Manager

Job ID: 555264BR Date posted: Apr. 29, 2021 Locations: Camden, New JerseyProgram: Littoral Combat Ship Description:The selected candidate will serve as the Global Sustainment (GS) ILS post-delivery Logistics Project Manager (LPM) for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. The candidate will direct ILS team efforts, to include those of other LPM support personnel, GS Center of Excellence (COE) personnel and subcontractors and will work closely with LCS post-delivery Program Management Office (PMO) personnel, subcontract managers and engineers. Additionally, the selected candidate may be called on to support related contract efforts for LCS acquisition and sustainment, and/ or support related capture/proposal efforts as directed.

Typical Tasks include:
• Leading, training and developing the LPM team that manages the planning and execution of ILS product updates
• Overseeing the development and integration of change impact assessments from multiple GS COEs
• Providing direction and tasking to GS Center of Excellence (COE) functional leads, teams, and subcontractors
• Overseeing the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other ILS deliveries
• Providing progress reports to GS functional management and LCS program management
• Performing as technical lead in all ILS matters including completing technical evaluations of subcontractor proposals and submittals
• Overseeing the development of and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Preparing presentations for internal and external customer briefings and formal reviews
• Leading the development of ROM budgetary estimates, formal Basis of Estimates (BOE’s) via GenBOE, and the development of Subcontractor Statements of Work (SOW)
• Supporting or joining capture teams or other cross-functional teams as the representative subject matter expert for Global Sustainment
• Interacting with finance and pricing to ensure development and submittal of proper cost estimates
• Supporting the development of Program of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and program schedules
• Timely status inputs for ILS team into PM Compass and the coordination of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) Domain reviews; including development of BCRs
• Timely manpower inputs for ILS team to program and functional management to assist in the loading and updating of GRID
Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in or knowledge of one or more of the following: Department of Defense (DoD) ILS products development; ILS requirements analysis and definition and/ or an understanding of the dependencies between various ILS products (training, technical publications, provisioning, etc…)
• Experience in a leadership role with a demonstrated record of success
• A thorough understanding of scheduling, budgeting/finance, contracting, Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource planning
• Strong understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Visio
• Strong social skills
• Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal
• An ability to lead in a fast-paced team environment with sensitivity to time critical schedule elements

• Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

- Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM) or equivalent experience in Earned Value Management
- Demonstrated experience leading a cross-functional team
- Demonstrated active participation in continuous process improvement initiatives
