Lockheed Martin's Apex Engineering Team develops and operates engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud, and application-based solutions for mission management, tracking, processing, analysis and dissemination of information for space-based programs in support of national security.

Our APEX team in Boulder Colorado is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to augment our Agile Teams in support of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) programs.

As a member of a high-performing team you must be passionate about your trade, focused on mission system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. This position involves interacting with stakeholders to define requirements, stories, and interfaces. Candidates will work with the team to develop high-level technical solutions, size and prioritize work, as well as document and verify work completion. Candidates should expect to lead the team through architecture, design, and test of all features in accordance with the Apex Agile process.

This position is in our Boulder, Colorado location which has amenities such as a fitness center and a collaborative and modern Agile workspace.

Basic Qualifications:
Systems engineering knowledge and experience including requirements analysis, systems modeling, analysis and design.

Experience developing and delivering documentation.

TS/SCI eligibility.
Desired Skills:
System Engineering experience for large systems with software emphasis.

Proven ability to lead and work in all aspects of the systems engineering and operations support efforts associated with the development, integration and demonstration of a system solution which complies with all performance requirements.

Demonstrated experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience architecting, accrediting and supporting cloud based systems.

Demonstrated understanding of Agile development.

Experience writing training documentation, system/user manuals and/or Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

Experience with Confluence, JIRA and Gliffy.

Strong teamwork skills.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for reinstatement.
