We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the TLOSS Program. This program will support the day to day operation of a government lab. The lab is designed to house projects supporting OPIR research and development. The selected candidate will be responsible for the on-boarding of new software into the TAP Lab. This approach should maximize the use of automated tools for code check in, configuration management, build, code quality evaluation, regression testing, and deployment to lab and other environments as directed. In addition, he/she will continuously assess the Commercially Available Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Free or Open Source Software (FOSS), framework and other software items to ensure uninterrupted operation of the lab environment. The candidate will be able to install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite. He/she will be able to create/maintain a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) capability to conduct automated building, testing, and deployment of prototype and experimental software. Along with the Chief Architect/Engineer, the candidate will be able to produce a reference/standard implementation with required cybersecurity protection, capable of rapidly integrating capabilities and deploying them into target environments.

This position is located in our beautiful Boulder, Colorado location which has numerous amenities such as a fitness center, daily rotating food trucks, and a collaborative and modern agile workspace.

Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
• Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
• Developing unit tests to assist in maintaining code coverage.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Customer focus
• Strong teamwork skills

• TS/SCI eligibility
Desired Skills:
• Developing creative, straightforward solutions to technical and user experience challenges.
• C/C++ experience
• Linux OS background
• Python programming experience
• Experience with cloud development
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile Development
• Experience in designing/testing software from a systems engineering perspective
• Current TS/SCI
• Understanding of data flows
• OPIR experience
