Description:If you are passionate about dynamic storytelling using a variety of media to create compelling projects that move an audience to action and the challenge of developing stories from concept to deliverable, then this is the role for you.

The ideal candidate loves developing creative concepts, storyboards, pre-production set-up, , shooting and post-production on a variety of projects. Our creative team produces high-end elements in a dynamic deadline-driven and fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone whose ideas are as sharp as their technical skills and can help the team expand the boundaries of our and motion graphic capabilities to tell stories that inspire action.

You must be a strong team player capable of collaborating both locally and across the Lockheed Martin enterprise with a focus on not only your success, but also the success of others.

Key skills and responsibilities:

- Significant portion of this position requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand the audience, objective and desired outcomes to help shape requirements that reflect project vision while providing guidance promoting our brand, messages and storytelling across multiple media

- Strong understanding and experience with creative storytelling in the producer / director role

- Experience in production, workflows and post-production

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

- Strong understanding of shot composition for

- Experience working location sets with crew

- Willingness to go the extra mile working extra hours as needed to exceed client’s expectations and support a dynamic, exciting production environment

- Research new or related technologies in modern design and related systems and , and incorporate into innovative content

- Continually adapt to the changing landscape of communication technology

- Seek new ways to improve and formalize internal processes

- Be a strong team player
Basic Qualifications:
- Demo reel required (online access)

- Undergraduate degree in visual media, visual communications, photography, video production, web design or related field with 3-5 years of professional experience

- Strong portfolio reflecting production experience in multiple disciplines including graphic design, motion graphics and editing

- Experience with various kinds of professional digital camera platforms

- Experience with studio and location lighting, and audio

- Experience with video editing software

- Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries

- Exceptional relationship-building, problem-solving and project management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communications, plus strong interpersonal skills to assure successful interaction with senior executives, colleagues and clients

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines

- Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
Desired Skills:
- Strong understanding of storytelling
- Strong understanding of shot composition for
- Experience working in studio environments
- Experience with social media distribution channels
- Hands-on experience with stabilization systems, sliders and automated time lapse systems
- Basic understanding of sound recording for production
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
