Description:Ready to shape the future of Treasury? Join us as a Treasury Business Process Analyst, harnessing advanced automation and AI to streamline workflows and accelerate strategic decision-making.
This role will support Capital Markets and Treasury operations, data analytics, process improvement, and technology enabled finance transformation within a controlled operating environment.

Your daily responsibilities may include:
• Embed with the Treasury team to learn end‑to‑end processes, then partner with FAST (Finance Automation Solutions Team) and LAIC (Lockheed Martin AI Center) to design and build AI‑assisted workflows.
• Perform capital‑markets operations, supporting settlements, valuation, accounting, forecasting, reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Expand knowledge across Treasury finance disciplines while identifying opportunities to automate processes, workflows, and reporting.
• Learn and utilize the Quantum Treasury Workstation to support and improve operations, unlock reporting, dashboarding, and operational capabilities.
• Support quarterly Treasury Tech Talks by introducing new ideas, delivering training, and fostering AI/ML discussions.
• Maintain the Treasury AI Use‑Case list, working with FAST to translate ideas into solutions.
• Track tasks and metrics; apply AI tools to convert complex activities into streamlined, repeatable processes.
• Own documentation, training, and adoption for new technology workflows.
• Applying lean process improvement and
reengineering methodologies and principles to
evaluate automation opportunities
• Drive Proactive AI‑Enabled Process Improvement: identify operational inefficiencies and design, build, and deliver AI‑ or automation‑based solutions that meet Lockheed Martin governance, standards, and security requirements. Evaluate existing AI/automation toolsets (e.g., ML pipelines, RPA platforms) and select the most appropriate ones. Develop proof‑of‑concepts or prototypes without waiting for formal requests. Document and present solutions in line with LM architecture and compliance frameworks.

Basic Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience: 1+ years in corporate treasury, finance operations, FP&A, or a tech‑adjacent finance role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, multi‑axis charts, power query, complex workbooks, import/export).
• Communication: Ability to create compelling PowerPoint narratives for senior executives.
• Personal Attributes: Independent self‑starter, results‑driven, clear communicator, continual learner, and strong cross‑functional collaborator.
• Analytical Ability: Strong investigative skills to pinpoint root causes of data issues, debug complex problems, and resolve inconsistencies.
Desired Skills:
• Data & Visualization Tools: Experience with Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, and other GenAI tools.
• Corporate Finance Knowledge: Familiarity with NPV cash‑flow analysis, financial statements, WACC, capital structure, stock‑price analysis, and bond‑yield relationships.
• Process‑Improvement & AI Expertise: Demonstrated ability to independently scope and deliver technical solutions for process improvement. Hands‑on experience with Generative AI concepts (prompt engineering, evaluation, retrieval‑augmented generation).
• Attention to Detail & Quality: Consistent focus on precision and high‑quality deliverables.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Ability to implement training plans that elevate organizational AI/automation expertise.
• Modeling & Analytics: Experience with Advanced Analytics (machine learning, statistical analysis, equity and fixed income valuations, predictive modeling, scenario analysis, etc.)
• Education & Training: May have advanced degree or training certification in related field (i.e.: MBA, CFA, Greenbelt, Blackbelt, Alteryx, Tableau)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
