This systems engineering and integration position within the AMARANTH team provides process, integration and engineering solutions for technical problems of varying scope and complexity.

You will be responsible for performing specific technical tasks related to the subject area f systems engineering and integration, including but not limited to: participation in and support to engineering review boards, requirements review and definition, schedule updates, ConOp review and hands-on integration.

You must understand the site and enterprise processes as a subject matter expert and be able to work through integration efforts with other segments at the facility and across the enterprise.

The candidate may also produce and review technical documentation, Operating Instructions, Concept of Operations, System Integration Plans and Requests for Change (RFC). Some travel may be required.

Working at a customer facility requires exceptional communication and the ability to work a variety of efforts in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. The position requires effective and accurate exchange of information across a multi-location enterprise, with customer visibility into the team’s actions and response.

You will work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-contractor team and demonstrate initiative as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

The selected candidate will work as part of a multi-contractor, geographically separated team of systems engineers, system integrators and CM analysts in a role that may include, but is not limited to:

 Authority on site system integration and system engineering processes to actively take the lead in
1.following site and enterprise systems engineering processes and practices;
2.evaluation of end user/operational needs and translation to formal requirements and;
3.identifying efficiencies and leading/participating in engineering process improvement activities.
•Management and Execution of special technical, engineering, integration and CM related activities and projects to include planning, oversight and status reporting; working closely with customers and stakeholders to integrate new systems, missions and processes into the day to day activities.
•Technical coordination and execution of tasks that may support various engineering and CM areas of responsibility such as configuration management, organizational change, performance assessment, engineering analysis

Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Applicant must be a proficient communicator to all skill levels, be able to respond effectively to changing situations, and be able to properly prioritize, status, and work multiple tasks.

Self-motivated and able to work under general supervision with the ability to function effectively in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision is necessary; adaptable to a wide variety of tasks

Strong organizational skills to include project planning and scheduling, project team leadership and requirements management and satisfaction to effectively analyze complex issues, conduct analysis and apply problem solving skills in a team environment.

Previous or current experience with customer at customer location; familiarity with national systems missions and concepts

US or UK Citizenship; Current TS/SCI or comparable clearance
