Lead Industry-Defining Change: You'll be responsible for pioneering a Secure Software Supply Chain, building a world-class Open Source Program Office (OSPO), and delivering game-changing 21st Century Cloud Platforms and Architectures.
Harness the Power of AI: Lead the integration of AI into the software lifecycle, leveraging AI applications and Large Language Models (LLMs) to boost developer productivity and transform how software is created and deployed.
Collaborate with the Best: Partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, and key Department of Defense customers to drive strategic initiatives in DevSecOps and Software Factory programs that deliver real-world impact.

• Innovate and Inspire: Spearhead the delivery of DevSecOps solutions that empower our business, from cutting-edge cloud platforms to seamless GitOps and infrastructure-as-code.
• Shape the Future of Open Source: Lead the company’s Open Source strategy, ensuring we're active contributors and leaders in the global open-source community.
• AI-Driven Acceleration: Deploy advanced AI tools that revolutionize the software development process, reducing bottlenecks and boosting delivery speed.
• Drive Strategic Engagement: Champion the adoption of the Software Factory across our business areas, integrating AI, cloud, and security solutions into mission-critical programs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience; or 15 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Subject matter expert and technical authority in Digital Transformation disciplines, including model-based systems engineering, production operations, logistics and sustainment, enterprise information technology capabilities, and modern IT practices.
• Demonstrated successful experience with leading and managing teams on enterprise-scale technical initiatives, both internal and external to Lockheed Martin.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Spectrum Leader, with success energizing teams, openly collaborating, and enabling their best performance.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a high-performing virtual team, including self-motivation, strong work ethics, efficient time management, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile DevOps methodologies, practices, and infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with audience-appropriate translation (technical to non-technical, vice versa, etc.), and demonstrated experience briefing the highest levels of company and customer organizations.
• Demonstrated experience as an expert in software development, leveraging Agile DevOps practices for Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated expertise in state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 technologies, tools, and capabilities.
• Professional credentials and certifications as an expert in systems architecture development, either internally with LM’s Architect Development and Qualification Program (ADQP) or externally with an organization like INCOSE, with demonstrated program experience.
• Ability to travel for broad business area facilitation and team interaction is required (approximately 25% of the time).
• Demonstrated experience with cloud migration and hosting, including experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Cloud Service Providers (CSP).
• Successful experience with both program and technical management disciplines, including management of cost, schedule, performance, and resources.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a high-performing virtual team, including self-motivation, strong work ethics, efficient time management, and strong interpersonal skills. • Experience facilitating a diverse group of technical professionals to collaborate on common solutions.
• Security Clearance: it is desired that the candidate possesses active Department of Defense Secret (or above), Secure Compartmentalized Information access, or Department of Energy L clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $180,000 - $300,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
