Description:Lockheed Martin is a globally recognized leader in sustainability.
This role sits within the specialized Sustainability Disclosures and Reporting Team which is responsible for all corporate disclosures on environmental, social and governance topics; and establishing a framework for strategic goal-setting in these areas.

The sustainability analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Sustainability Disclosures and Reporting, and is responsible for drafting and design of key annual sustainability disclosures. Other responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, research, benchmarking, process improvement and documentation, data management and investor engagement.

Recurring projects include:
• Sustainability reporting: Collect and summarize content for inclusion in the annual sustainability report and related disclosures; conduct benchmarking of sustainability reporting practices, create tracking methods and tools for disclosures, support promotion and distribution methods, collect Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) data from multiple parties, and support the third-party assurance process.
• Sustainability disclosures: Act as project manager for key external disclosures, such as CDP and DJSI. Role will also include review of data for other raters and rankers including ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Vigeo-Eiris, etc.
• Sustainability reporting regulations: Monitor and track relevant national and global reporting regulations and frameworks. Role will also support the implementation of respective regulations.
• Core issues assessment and Sustainability Management Plan development: Support the materiality assessment and related management plan development and reporting.
• Investor engagement: Create materials to support ESG investor engagement, draft responses to inquiries from key investors and conduct research on investor ESG trends.
• Communications and employee engagement: Create presentations from existing training materials, support the planning and logistics to implement training sessions, support the development of training and engagement materials including videos and social media, and support written internal communications.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 6 years of professional experience in sustainability, environment, social, and governance or corporate responsibility disciplines within a large global corporation or consulting firm.
• True team player with demonstrated success working seamlessly with a team.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications experience.
• Strong project management experience.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrates company values to do what's right, respect others, and perform with excellence
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree related to sustainability, corporate responsibility, environment, social, or governance disciplines
• Experience or familiarity with ESG and sustainability disclosures such as CDP, DJSI/CSA, ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Vigeo-Eiris and reporting standards such as GRI, SASB, or in corporate financial filings.
• Experience preparing for emerging sustainability reporting regulations such as those in California, US (SEC), EU (CSRD)
• Experience in ESG controlling or sustainability data management, validation and assurance
• Experience using Workiva wDesk or proven aptitude for learning a new software or system.
• Experience working on projects with external vendors.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
