Security Systems Analyst

Description:As a member of Lockheed Martin's Bethesda, MD-based Corporate Crisis Management and Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC) team, the successful candidate will be an integral part of a world-class operations center and will help identify, implement, and manage data and security systems that provide crisis managers and international security professionals across the enterprise with a Visual Command Center (VCC).

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- implementing, sustaining, and enhancing Lockheed Martin's Visual Command Center (VCC) providing enhanced, global situational awareness and traveler, expatriate, and asset risk management services
- management of Visual Command Center (VCC) system implementations throughout the project life cycle to include requirements identification, systems design, project planning, systems- and user acceptance- testing, user training, systems configuration, and communications
- collaborating with functional stakeholders, internal IT departments, and external vendors in support of project implementations and system upgrades
- identifying, managing, and visualizing system-health metrics
Basic Qualifications:
The GEOC is a fast-paced, collaborative, and open floorplan operations center that requires the successful candidate to be able to work effectively under pressure and to be aware of interpersonal relationships and manage them judiciously and empathically. The GEOC’s often fast-paced work tempo requires a candidate to rapidly shift focus and reprioritize tasks to meet frequently changing system and operational requirements.

The successful candidate should also have experience in the following skills:
- Basic understanding of project management
- Basic knowledge of system’s administration
- Ability to complete and/or facilitate systems integration
- Configuration control and change management
- Technical writing
- Facilitation of training and public speaking

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

- Everbridge's Visual Command Center system
- Microsoft Windows Server platforms (2012, 2016)
- Mass Notification
- Splunk
- Data visualization
- Vendor management
