Job Responsibilities
Description:Join the Lockheed Martin Production Operations One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Plan to Stock (PTS) Information Technology (IT) team as an IT Business Analyst (ITBA) supporting the SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) modules.
This senior-level role drives the functional design, system integration, and configuration for critical compliance and sustainability processes, ensuring adherence to global regulations, accurate product stewardship, and comprehensive employee safety and environmental management within our SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
The successful candidate will apply strong SAP functional expertise and regulatory knowledge to align Product Compliance and EHS processes across the enterprise. They will partner closely with business process owners, legal teams, developers, and system architects to design, configure, and implement solutions that mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and support Lockheed Martin's sustainability goals.
This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
The IT Business Analyst will be a key leader in solution delivery, driving the successful design and implementation of SAP Product Compliance and EHS capabilities. Core responsibilities include:
• Lead and Drive Functional Design: Analyze complex global regulatory requirements and internal safety standards, leading functional design sessions to translate them into effective, integrated processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Solution Configuration and Documentation: Be accountable for performing system configuration and executing Component Unit Testing (CUT) within the SAP Product Compliance and EHS modules. Ensure accurate configuration documentation (KCDs) is created and maintained.
• Own Specifications and Testing Data: Take ownership of authoring Functional Specifications (FRICE) for all enhancements and integrations. Furthermore, be responsible for creating and preparing necessary test data for both Component Unit Testing (CUT) and Functional Unit Testing (FUT).
• Coordinate Testing Cycles: Execute Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and actively support business process owners during Integration Testing Cycles (ITC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including identifying appropriate test data and resolving issues.
• System and Process Guidance: Serve as the functional expert, providing authoritative guidance on system best practices, optimal configuration, and process design for regulatory and safety compliance.
• Manage Development Collaboration: Collaborate closely with ABAP developers and technical teams to author and review technical specifications, ensuring that standardized, scalable, and technically compliant solutions are built.
• Ensure Regulatory and Technical Adherence: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all designed solutions adhere to both Lockheed Martin's business standards and technical requirements.
• Support Readiness and Deployment: Prepare comprehensive documentation and training materials, support final data validation, and manage production readiness activities for all Product Compliance and EHS deployments.
• Improvement and Backlog Management: Identify opportunities for process improvement, recommend SAP innovations to increase efficiency and compliance, and utilize Jira and SAP Focused Build to manage backlogs and requirements throughout the Agile lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience authoring functional specifications based on business requirements and translating them into technical design deliverables.
• Experience collaborating with ABAP developers and technical teams to design and standardize integrated functional solutions.
• Ability to analyze compliance and safety data, identify process gaps, and facilitate data-driven decisions that improve risk management.
• Experience supporting end-to-end system implementation including requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, testing, and go-live.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills involving the integration of multiple IT systems and regulatory content feeds.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate between technical, functional, and legal/regulatory audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship required, as this role supports systems related to national defense.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on configuration experience with:
• SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance (especially Dangerous Goods, Product Marketability and Compliance, and SDS Management).
• SAP S/4HANA EHS (especially Incident Management, Risk Assessment, and Environmental Management).
• Familiarity with the integration points between Product Compliance/EHS and other core SAP modules (e.g., Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD)).
• Strong functional understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, RoHS, GHS/CLP, OSHA) and how they are mapped into SAP compliance and EHS modules.
• Experience with regulatory content integration (e.g., utilizing services from external content providers).
• Understanding of Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) and management of chemical inventories.
• Experience with data validation and master data dependencies for compliance objects (e.g., specifications, listed substances).
• Experience using Jira and SAP Focused Build to manage backlogs, requirements, and testing.
• Ability to independently lead design and testing across integrated regulatory and safety systems.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid ERP delivery environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical stakeholders.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $114,700 - $198,720. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
