Description:Strategic Sourcing Category Management is seeking a Category Manager to join the Raw Materials Category Management team with a focus on Raw Metallics. This role is in support of Supply Chain Transformation and is critical to the enablement of material savings and improved performance through the expansion of enterprise Long Term Agreements (LTAs). The Category Manager will serve as the main point of contact for all matters pertaining to a specific category and/or material contract (e.g., Titanium, Steel, Aluminum, Extrusions, and more).

As part of the category strategy, you would be responsible for the execution and management of corporate wide LTAs for a specific category (including consolidating Business Area, Program, and Site-specific agreements as applicable). The purpose of these LTAs is to consolidate requirements, increase productivity, streamline the acquisition process and leverage forecasted procurement volumes across Lockheed Martin.

The Raw Metallics Category Manager will:
• Partner with the Business Area teams to consolidate requirements and compete aggregated demand.
• Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials & Processes (M&P) and other functions to evaluate, optimize, and streamline material specifications and grades.
• Administer Enterprise Agreement contract compliance and governance.
• Execute and manage corporate agreements for the category in accordance with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP) and Global Supply Chain Operations (GSCO) policies and procedure.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the LTA process, including: preparation of requirements documents, statements of work (SOW) and Request For Proposals (RFPs); development of evaluation criteria; participation in bidders' conferences and supplier presentations; analysis and evaluation of proposals in support of best value procurements; price negotiations; terms and conditions negotiations; price analyses; documenting activities in compliance with policies and procedures; supplier management; as well as the management and maintenance of the LTA.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the category market space and supplier base in order to establish effective supplier relationships to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance.
• Create and maintain efficient Enterprise Agreement documents and information management collaboration tools for Lockheed Martin internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with an Enterprise-wide, cross-functional team of supply chain, production operations, component engineering, quality, finance and business operations professionals to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, support program needs, identify new sources of supply and develop advanced strategies across Lockheed Martin.
• Identify efficiencies in contracting strategy and requirements to benefit the Lockheed Martin Enterprise.
• Track, engage, and manage category supply chain risks.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a supply chain professional looking to make impact across all of Lockheed Martin and drive improved performance while working as OneLM.

While this is a full-time telecommuting position, regular travel may be required depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• Direct experience working with or sourcing raw materials
• Demonstrated supply chain experience as Category Manager, Procurement Representative, Subcontract Manager and/or Subcontract Administrator
• Ability to work with and consolidate different/complex forms of data (e.g., raw material attributes) and combine into aggregated demand
• Proven ability to collaborate across the enterprise with cross functional teams in a hybrid/virtual environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter who can drive projects forward independently and implement innovative business solutions
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results
• Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization
Desired Skills:
• Experience sourcing aerospace and defense grade raw metallics (e.g., Titanium, Steel, Aluminum, Extrusions) directly from mills and distributors
• Understand raw material specifications and grades
• Raw Material Aggregation
• Experience administering Right to Buy (RTB) or Directed Buy (DB) Long-term Agreement (LTA) contracts
• Supply Chain Illumination / Bill of Materials (BOM) Illumination
• Experience releasing RFPs and negotiating LTAs
• Experience executing and documenting purchase orders and/or agreements in accordance with supply chain policies/procedures (LMAP, CAP, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire through teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to develop long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives
• Excellent business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
• Experience overseeing projects or programs
• Proven ability to effectively build and manage relationships
• Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in software tools including Excel, PowerPoint and LM procurement tools (P2P)
• Customer focused, results oriented

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
