Are you ready to join a dynamic team and play a critical role in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin's Investor Relations? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support our Vice President and Director of Investor Relations in executing our strategic plan. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, provide guidance and oversight to the IR analyst, and drive process automation and digitization efforts. What you'll be doing:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare Q&A in support of CEO, COO, CFO, and VP & DIR of IR for communications with investors & shareholders, including earnings calls, Bethesda visits, investor and industry conferences and trade-shows, non-deal roadshows, etc.
Provide guidance, counseling, and oversight to the IR analyst to ensure the successful execution of investor relations activities
Lead the 1LMX transformation for IR, focusing on process automation, digitization, efficiency, and speed, leveraging AI and other internal and external resources
Conduct research, building relative historical datasets for LMT & peers for quick reference, and lead financial analysis, valuation assessments/modeling, and competitor research
Support internal presentations, including developing and updating content in support of IR presentations to the BoD, ELT, BA SLTs, and other education/CLE classes
Support the planning and execution of any LMT investor conference(s)
Assist with departmental administration, including department budget, vendor relationships, and IR toolset management

Who are you:

You are a highly motivated and experienced professional with:

Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and provide guidance and oversight to the IR analyst
Strong understanding of investor relations principles and practices
Experience with process automation, digitization, and efficiency efforts
Ability to conduct research, build historical datasets, and lead financial analysis and competitor research
Strong presentation and content development skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, with a work location in Bethesda, MD
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of at least 7 years of experience in finance related role.

- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams.

- Leadership experience and skills aligning with Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives

- Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with a required work location in Bethesda, MD.
Desired Skills:
- 1. CFA or MBA: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) designation.

- Financial Analysis and Modeling: Strong financial analysis, valuation, and modeling skills, with experience in building financial models and conducting competitor research.

- Project Management and Process Improvement: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on process automation, digitization, and efficiency. (incl 1LMX & AI)

- Research and Data Analysis: Strong research skills, with the ability to build and maintain historical datasets, conduct market research, and analyze large datasets.

- Presentation and Content Development: Experience in developing and updating content for internal presentations, including IR presentations to the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, and other stakeholders.

- AI and Technology: Familiarity with AI and other digital tools, with the ability to leverage these resources to drive process automation and efficiency.

- Budgeting and Vendor Management: Experience in managing departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and toolset management.

- Lockheed Martin or Industry Experience: Experience working in the aerospace and defense industry, or with Lockheed Martin specifically, would be a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $124,900 - $220,225. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
