Description:Director Enterprise IT Unified Communications (Data, Voice and Video-DV2) is responsible for providing the strategy, design, implementation and sustained operations of all and voice/video/messaging collaboration services across the LM business. This position is responsible for working with the business area stakeholders on their requirements and developing the short term and long-term strategy for services and new technology infusion. The DV2 organization collaborates across the IT functional areas on various projects and identifies common architectures and solutions that drive innovation and value for LM, while keeping a focus on affordability. The Director provides leadership oversight to LM-wide and BA projects for DV2 services, leads the directorate to provide thought leadership, and demonstrates strong teaming skills. Position can be at any Lockheed Martin facility.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead development of a global and telecommunications strategy, working with VP of IT Infrastructure & International to develop and maintain a 3-year roadmap.
• Implement strategic and operational plans in areas of WAN operations and engineering, LAN engineering, directory services, voice services, sourcing, daily operations and technical support, service continuity, and compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policy.
• Develop, implement and own the operations portfolio of services, including the total cost of services and chargeback models, and operating under formal operating level agreements in an internal shared services model for service delivery.
• Direct the operation of complex networks connecting Lockheed Martin locations and key business partners world-wide.
• Establishes, maintains and communicates the organization’s strategy for managing information, and the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy.
• Recognizes, and actively seeks ways to exploit information technology to address complex business, organizational and technical issues, of both a conventional and innovative nature. Influences senior level customers and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that professional standards are maintained.
• Takes full responsibility for budgeting, estimating, planning and objective setting for the work of the function, within agreed policies. Establishes and operates systems to monitor progress, take corrective action and produce reports as required by senior management.
• Advises and influences business clients and customers at highest level, regarding the delivery, costs, availability and functionality of services and systems. Develops effective partnerships, based on mutual commercial interest for future development. Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics with internal customers.
• Ensures that service level agreements, contracts and negotiations with both internal and external suppliers are always aimed at meeting the business needs of the employing organization by providing a value for money service in terms of standards, quality, efficiency, safety, performance and cost effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
• Global leadership experience, with particular emphasis on interpersonal and negotiating skills and the ability to motivate staff. Shows the ability to delegate effectively to more technical staff, whilst maintaining full management control

• Demonstrated program management experience (cost/budgeting, schedule, risk evaluation/mitigation, & program execution)

• Demonstrated work experience to effectively and independently perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Technical competence in cloud voice solutions and video conferencing technology, networking technologies including SDWAN and SDLAN, diverse transport technologies, WAN acceleration, with proven operational responsibility for 24x7 business critical IT systems in a complex technical environment

• Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability

• Strong planning, communication and presentation skills, the capability to listen and influence, and is proficient in project quality management

• Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization and work experience developing effective stakeholder and partner relationships

• Proven ability to lead global business and diverse virtual teams delivering business critical services
Desired Skills:
• Our preferred candidate will have a strength in telecommunications and will have led a major IT Unified Communications strategy at minimum at the Director level for a Fortune 500 enterprise

• Demonstrated experience promoting new technologies to improve efficiencies and productivity

• Demonstrated ability to drive common services, common processes and best practices

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across the EIT organization and BA PMO

• Fundamental knowledge of Agile, DevOps, business transformation and automation

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $287,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
