Description:We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organized Digital Creative Strategist to lead our digital content producer team and bring compelling priority brand storytelling to life across digital platforms and channels. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end content creation process—from concept through completion – driving high-impact campaigns that elevate our brand and support enterprise priorities. As a member of the Corporate Communications team, you will collaborate across functions and business areas to craft compelling stories that showcase our innovation in defense and aerospace.

This leader will shape creative content strategies, manage editorial workflows, and ensure operational excellence across multiple channels. You’ll be at the center of cross-functional collaboration, combining your expertise in messaging, visual storytelling and digital distribution to maximize the reach and resonance of our content.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Communications
- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Content and Channel Manager to align messaging, creative direction and delivery methods across platforms and campaigns for both internal and external communications.
- Translate strategic communications goals into coordinated enterprise content plans, ensuring storytelling is tailored, timely and channel appropriate.
- Support enterprise campaigns and strategic initiatives with integrated messaging frameworks.

Content Creation
- Lead our corporate digital creative team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle – from ideation through development and deployment – ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery.
- Drive the development of digital-first storytelling assets for a variety of channels including web, intranet, and social media. Create, edit, and optimize content for various channels, including web, video scripts, infographics, feature articles, white papers, and executive messaging.
- Manage editorial calendars and creative production schedules of the team, balancing long-term planning with the ability to respond to real-time needs.
- Act as a creative leader and thought partner, offering input on messaging, design and visual storytelling techniques for enterprise operations.

Social Media Content Support Lead
- Serve as a key partner to our social media manager by developing and delivering high-quality creative assets that amplify the brand’s presence and messaging across social platforms
- Proactively support content development for high-visibility and event/affinity-driven moments ensuring creative teams are prepared and resourced in advanced.
- Monitor digital social channels during heighted moments, supporting rapid-response materials as needed.
- Provide occasional after-hours or weekend coverage during key events or content surges, working in tandem with social media leads to ensure timely response and support.
- Help ensure all social media content meets brand, accessibility, and platform-specific standards.

Content Quality Control & Consistency
- Ensure content adheres to brand, editorial, and accessibility standards across all touchpoints.
- Establish and maintain quality control processes to review,
- Uphold consistency in tone, style, and voice—while adapting content to fit the audience, format, and platform.
- Implement content governance practices to manage revisions, version control, and asset documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- At least 6 years of experience in content creation, management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using CMS platforms, editorial calendars, SEO tools, and analytics dashboards.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different formats and audiences.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving industry trends.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong visual eye for quality control, ensuring that both written and video content meets brand standards for design, consistency, and creativity.

Creativity & Problem-Solving:
- Excellent creative thinking skills, with the ability to conceptualize and execute compelling video and written content that aligns with broader content strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot video or content issues and resolve them quickly.

Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.), graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator), and familiarity with video and audio production processes.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $103,700 - $179,860. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
