F-16 Structures and Corrosion Control Technician: Performs all aspects of structures and corrosion control requirements on F-16 block 52 aircraft. Must be willing to train and assist in multiple disciplines. Provide technical guidance and work with and train customer technicians.
Candidate must be high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must be a proficient user of Micro Soft Office suite. Must be eligible for a DOD secret clearance. Candidate must have related safety equipment. Experience working with foreign nationals is highly desired and will be viewed as a positive element during selection. Additional skill/experience with the F-16 is highly desired.
Additional info: Site set-up activities in Iraq, to include light to medium construction type activities, shop set-up, furniture assembly and other duties as reasonably assigned. The environment/working conditions in Iraq can be harsh; high temps, very dusty, etc.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
*SECURITY Clearance REQUIRED. Must have an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to start date AND must maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
F-16 Aircraft Structures and corrosion control experience. Aircraft Painter
Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent).
Candidate must have at least 4 years’ experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance activities.
Desired Skills:
Aircraft Structural Repair and Painter
Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas
A strong understanding of the maintenance process
Perform routine system troubleshooting, installation and repair.
Have a working knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and components on the F-16 aircraft
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
Aircraft Mechanic / Aircraft craftsman A&P Lic.
Ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing
Preflight/thru flight/post flight & BPO inspections
Min 4 years documented experience on the F-16 Aircraft / systems
Ability to speak/communicate in Arabic
