Description:What We’re Doing:
We are a team of security professionals responsible for developing, administering, and auditing security programs that protect classified material and export-controlled data. We work closely with government customers at MCAS Beaufort, SC to ensure compliance with federal security regulations and implement security solutions that meet customer needs while minimizing risk. Our team members serve as Security Representatives, providing support for Special Access Programs (SAPs), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, and DOD collateral classified programs associated with the F-35. We study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DoD Manual 5205.07 and Vol 4 / JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). We also develop and conduct security education classes, investigate security violations, and provide support for classified meetings and customer visits.

Who we are:
The Security Rep Asc Mgr is a critical management position, and will support the F-35 Program located at MCAS Beaufort, SC. The selected candidate will primarily perform duties as a Security Shift Operations Manager in a Special Access Program environment, reporting to the MCAS Beaufort F-35 Site Security Manager. The position will be responsible for employee recruitment, training, performance management, work assignments, recognition/disciplinary actions, etc. Develops, implements and recommends modifications to operating policies. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations. Additionally, candidate will manage more than one functional area in Security, such as operational security, security education, personnel security, physical industrial security, investigations, and document control. Performs and manages other duties as assigned.
Selected candidate will serve as the Security Lead in the Site Security Manager's absence and is responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
This position is primarily a first shift position, however, due to the dynamic environment supporting flying operations and pilot training, the selected candidate may be required to support either first, second, or third shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differs from their primary shift. Some business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of MCAS Beaufort, SC. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required in the future.
Basic Qualifications:
Final transferable SECRET clearance with closed investigation date within 5 years or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program with the ability to obtain, and maintain, a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI if/when mission requirements dictate.
Must be able to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs (SAP’s).
Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
Experience working on Special Access Programs.
Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and deal with frequently changing program requirements.
Experience leading/managing people, teams and resources.
Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excell and Access and other Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Skills:
1. Prior L-Code Manager experience in a Lockheed Martin Security environment (F35 L-code experience a plus).
2. In-depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.7 and Volume 4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
3. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills; mentoring, teaching, guiding, coaching.
4. Poised and professional in engagements with Senior Level Military and Government Civilian personnel.
5. Prior experience as a CSSO, GSSO, or PSO.
6. Familiarization with NISPOM.
7. Experience working in a military environment.
8. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
9. Ability to multi-task.
10. Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
