Description:LMC Properties, Inc., the real estate subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a paralegal to support the General Counsel of LMC Properties, Inc. in the real estate and economic development areas of law.

Real Estate:
• Tasks in this regard will include tracking real estate transactions, coordinating closings with title companies, tracking and maintaining closing checklists, drafting and reviewing license agreements, easements and other documents and working with outside counsel on real estate matters
• Assist with tracking and supporting real estate litigation matters

Economic Development:
• Review applications for Economic Development Incentives assist with compiling information
• Assist with confirmation of representations and warranties with Corporate Legal POCs
• Document review and maintenance of EDO files

• Maintaining documents and keeping files organized in both paper and electronic form and coordinating and tracking billing matters with outside counsel
• Drafting and reviewing Delegations of Authority, Proprietary Information Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements and other documents
• Respond to document request and subpoenas
• Perform general legal research
Basic Qualifications:
• Significant experience with real estate law (acquisitions, dispositions and leasing) and contracts
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Power Point)
• Ability to adapt and learn new systems
• Demonstrated comfort working on a fast-paced team, competency while acting independently under general direction, and excellent attention to detail;
• Exceptional time management and project planning skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience (preferably from combined law firm and in-house corporate experience)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
• 6-7 years experience working in law firm or an in-house corporate team
• Litigation experience
• An Associates Degree - coupled with a paralegal certificate - or higher
