• You will be a member of the Ground Software team that designs, develops, tests, implements, maintains and documents software development activities as an integral component of a larger, complex system.
• Position requires software development experience, object oriented design and analysis, and familiarity with C++ and Java.
• You will be responsible for requirements analysis, design, development, maintenance, and documentation of software as well as ensuring proper standards and processes are followed.
• Position will also be responsible for assisting with defining, documenting the future architecture for the follow on contract Design Reviews and helping the team to execute that new plan.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in science and technology related programs such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, etc. (or experience in lieu of degree)
- Must have 5 years Orbit Analysis experience
-Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, PERL, C++, FORTRAN.
-Active TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of ephemeris generation processing
- Willing to take on software tasks outside Orbit Analysis
- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable
- Must be expert in GIT/GITLAB CM tool application
