This position is on the Double Eagle (Denver) program in the Ground Engineering Group, as part of the Ground Systems Engineering (GSE) team. The GSE team's mission is to provide ground system oversight through process stewardship and integration of new functionality and corrective actions into a cohesive program maximizing mission productivity.

Duties include:
•daily evaluation of trending data to validate nominal system performance or identification of system degradation and implementation of an appropriate response to prevent adverse system impact.
•review and approve baseline changes
•support engineering tag-ups and other forums as appropriate
•coordinate with internal and external organizations to address architectural, performance and other items of interest.
•identify system level and process issues and provide technical leadership to work to resolution.
•provide project management and technical leadership for engineering activities.
•perform system analysis and Trade Studies as directed.

You will be required to carry a pager on a rotational 24/7 on-call basis to respond to critical system faults. Shift work may be required to support special activities, but not on a regular basis.

Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering or technical background.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Effective communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and team skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills

A TS/SCI security clearance and CI poly required to start
Desired Skills:
- Specific Double Eagle domain knowledge.
- Knowledge of E2A delivery and change control processes
- Project management execution
- Knowledge of the Double Eagle process to identify, assess, and manage risk
