This Lockheed Martin-Space System Engineer IT position might be for you if you are passionate about working on a Team that provides Linux support to Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support for a national critical mission. As a part of our Dev/Ops Org you will work a variety of hardware/, admin/network, and infrastructure-based project engineering tasks. This position requires excellent cross-program coordination to expertly configure and maintain operations . Excellent communication skills in scrums are key to work through road blocks and resolve issues quickly.

Role overview:
• Working in a team environment providing technical services on Red Hat Linux and Windows servers on operation , software, and their associated storage.
• Operations & Sustainment in a critical mission environment.
• You will perform a variety of activities in information support, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: computer network defense, programming, computer application analysis, software development, , and related disciplines.
• Involved in all phases of the installation, and maintenance of software and hardware component changes to large, complex information .
• Distribution of application software to workstations and will assist users with issues with all workstation installed software.

Basic Qualifications:
Information Technology and System administration (SA) background with working virtual servers, physical servers, and associated technologies

Well-versed and experienced with Windows and Linux operating administration

Strong SA skills to include problem solving, architecture (network, system, hardware), and operations support

Cloud Computing interest/experience (architecture, , certification, deployment, maintenance)

Current, Active TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
Understanding of Agile methodology and working in KANBAN teams

Experience with IAVA/security patch management, VM Ware and V-Sphere

Familiar with other disciplines (e.g., IP networking, SAN and NAS storage , etc.)

Excellent customer relationship skills
