• You will be joining the remote Systems Engineering-IT team responsible for the day to day maintenance, trouble shooting, fault isolation, and analysis of complex computer and communications equipment supplied to The Skunkworks™ and other customers.

• This Position will require solid working knowledge of network systems, Cisco Nessus routers and switches, virtual systems (Hypervisor/VMWare), Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows XP, Windows 7, and UNIX operating systems. Small computer repair and component level maintenance is also suggested.

• The selected candidate will develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

• This position requires familiarity with the use of engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, technical guides and manufacturers' manuals.

• This position will also be involved automation of the current test procedures, so familiarity with automation tools is strongly desired.

• This position will require strong organizational, written and communication skills.

• This position will require travel (up to 10%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events with some amount of overtime required during events.

• Experience of supporting and/or working within the Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs, other Special Programs divisions internally or externally, and/or Special Access Programs (SAPs) are strongly desired.

• This position will require support of an operations forward style schedule including varying shift work and daily schedule taskings.

• Must be innovative, self-motivated, proactive and always utilize sound judgment, be diplomatic and establish and preserve a creditable relationship with all personnel. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communications skills are required. Must be flexible and work well under pressure.

• Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends if needed. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
- Computer system administration

- OS system administration (Linux and Windows)

- Hardware field support

- Delivery and installation

- Operation and maintenance

- Support to operation would include but not limited to shift work

- Industry IT Certifications such as CompTIA Network +, A+, Server+ or Linux+, Cisco CCNA R/S, ITIL v4 Foundations.

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

- Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
