Description:
You will be the Senior Subcontract Manager for the PAC‑3 Program Supply Chain team. Our team safeguards the flow of critical material requirements by creating, managing, and optimizing sub‑contracts that keep engineering, production, quality, and PP&C on schedule.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for driving timely subcontract execution and mitigating supply‑chain risks across the PAC‑3 program. You’ll partner daily with engineers, quality specialists, production leads, and external suppliers to ensure every part arrives when needed, supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading subcontract creation, negotiation, and award to meet program material needs.
• Coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Production Operations, and PP&C to align resource plans and delivery schedules.
• Driving mitigation activities that keep the PAC 3 supply chain on track and on budget.
• Managing daily supplier issues, escalating when necessary, and providing clear resolutions to protect production flow.
• Acting as the primary communication hub between internal teams, external vendors, and program supply chain leadership.
• Monitoring contract performance metrics and implementing continuous improvement actions.
• Executing ad hoc projects that enhance subcontract processes, risk visibility, or cost effectiveness.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or related discipline from an accredited college.
• Basic understanding of the procurement processes.
• Basic SAP/MRP knowledge.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to travel, if required.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business related degree.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling principles and performance metrics.
• Efficient understanding of LMAP and the LM procurement process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communications and effective presentation skills.
• Working understanding of line of balance spreadsheets.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of basic capacity principles and experience with ramping programs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.  Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.  These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
