Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the THAAD Subcontract Systems Team. Our team drives the end‑to‑end procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services that enable THAAD production and post‑production activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will own the full subcontract lifecycle—from crafting precise specifications and RFPs to negotiating terms, awarding contracts, and closing out subcontracts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and work hand‑in‑hand with Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Production Operations to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance targets are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the prime Point of Contact for all subcontracted work and complex, Spec/SOW driven procurements.
• Developing clear subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for specialized THAAD components.
• Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conducting bidders’ conferences, and creating robust evaluation criteria.
• Receiving, analyzing, and evaluating proposals; negotiating price, terms, and conditions; and recommending or selecting subcontractors.
• Drafting and executing subcontract packages, purchase orders, and supplier agreements within delegated authority.
• Managing subcontract administration, including change orders, performance monitoring, and timely close out.
• Coordinating material deliveries to meet critical production milestones.
• Building and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with suppliers through phone, email, and onsite visits.
• Partnering cross functionally with Program Office personnel and functional departments to align subcontract activities with program objectives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR procurement regulations desired
• Working knowledge of standard contract types
• Experience with SAP based procurement system
• Experience with PO Folders and managing supplier contracts from SOW to closeout
• Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to travel Internationally (Saudi Arabia)
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Compliance/Peer Review Experience desired
• Excellent communication skills
• Substantial Subcontract Management experience
• Familiarity with LMP2P and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAPs)
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, teammates and internal customers
• Previous experience preparing and delivering presentations to upper management and external customers
• Desire and proven ability to work in high pace environment with cross functional stakeholders

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
