Security Representative

Description:The individual selected will serve as a Security Representative supporting a variety of security related tasks and programs at the Lockheed Martin Government Affairs facility. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of all functions of the Government Affairs industrial security program and directly responsible for formulating security policy and procedures, asset protection, visitor management and access control, CCTV systems, supervision of a contract guard force, physical security, closed areas, assisting with counterintelligence and investigations, and security education and awareness. Additional duties will include but are not limited to ensuring compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data, supporting high level classified and unclassified meetings, and direct interaction with executive level internal customers, government customers and foreign officials.

Other responsibilities will include;
• Capable of critical project management, organizational and internal/external customer service and support
• Supporting operations and compliance security efforts at the facility
• Must be able to perform the responsibilities of the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in the event of their absence.
• Participate in security related assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified materials.
• Assist in leading the crisis management planning and execution for the site.
• Processes clearances and customer visit requests.
• Perform document control functions for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assisting with executive level support to internal and external customers.

The individual will be required to assist with the preparation and implementation of company security policies, National Industrial Security Program (NISP) rules, regulations, and procedures, SAP security directives (DoDMs/JSIG), and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD)/SCI policies.

Individual will apply business-minded and risk-managed approach to security issues and business challenges and communicate observations and recommendations to leadership.

This is a high tempo, multi-tasking and demanding environment that requires customer service, communication and organizational skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic qualifications include, but are not limited to:

- Excellent written, oral, organizational and interpersonal communication skills

- Effective scheduling and coordination skills

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team / collaborative environment

- Excellent customer service skills

- Knowledge of NISPOM requirements (to include, administrative, personnel, international, classification, marking, and document control)

- Scheduling flexibility, high level of decorum and professionalism

- Excellent information technology skills including proficiency of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SAP/SCI access
Desired Skills:
Experience as an FSO/AFSO and/or CPSO/CSSO

Previous Project Management experience

Experience in/with the following: Counterintelligence, Investigations, Guard Force Management, Crisis Management, Case Management, CCTV and access control systems
