Description:You will be the Senior Program Quality Manager leading quality activities necessary to execute and grow the PAC-3 production system and supply base to support unprecedented demand. The selected leader must help defined new aspects of the quality management system that ensures both velocity and maintains product quality. You will be responsible for architecting new ways to work as Lockheed Martin adapts our operations to the Department of War’s re-defined acquisition model leaning heavily on more commercial type approaches.

What You Will Be Doing


As the Senior Program Quality Manager you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that integrates with cross functional teams and stakeholders and accounts for new acquisition models

Collaborating with US Government representatives to ensure positive customer relationships while establishing new norms for roles an accountabilities

Integrating with MFC disciplines to assess and provide insight into the effectiveness of Quality systems infrastructure at key suppliers and LM Production sites

Representing PAC-3 Quality and the Quality and Mission Success (QMS) Organization at key program and executive staff meetings

Promoting a 1LM approach Program Quality functional management, responsible for ownership for the Quality Management System

Further Information About This Opportunity


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have an Interim Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education
-Must be a US citizen and have an Interim Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
-Ability to travel (less than 50%)
-Senior Leadership Experience with Quality Management Systems (i.e. AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145, TS16949).
-Advanced experience in applied Quality principles to establish new processes and new ways of working
-Experience with Operational Excellence and developing and deploying cross functional performance scorecards.
-Experience as a senior leader in large enterprise change management projects.
-Experience in strategy development and deployment
-Experience in the recruitment and development of talent to strengthen the organization.
Desired Skills:
-Technical Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering) at Bachelors level or higher preferred, Candidate should possess experience in multiple Technical, Quality Assurance and Business elements.
-Prior Experience working with DCMA
-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
-Change Management formal training
-Aerospace Defense manufacturing experience
-Supply chain management experience
-Familiar with MFC policies and procedures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
