Job Responsibilities
Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced
Program Quality Engineer (QE) Staff based in
Arlington, TX supporting the PAC-3 Production program.
What You Will Be Doing
The Quality professional will be responsible for
the strategic leadership and performance;
specifically, manufacturing site performance,
continuous improvement, talent development,
training, and knowledge continuity. Specifically in activities associated with Production Rate Ramping and Acceleration. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Quality Engineering and as an Advisor for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate staycurrent with industry standards, solutions, and
leverage technology into Missiles & Fire Control
(MFC).
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Ensure contractual quality requirements are
implemented and verified.
• Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues. Develop and implement strategies to improve tooling and test equipment manufacturing internally and with the supply chain.
• Experience with significant hands on, working
knowledge of engineering design,
manufacturing, and quality processes.
• Experience with reading and interpreting
engineering requirements, specifications and
apply their intent for evaluating acceptance of
quality products.
• Provide technical liaison support related to
quality engineering matters.
• Identifying solutions to complex problems with
a focus on continual improvement practices
using resources like Causal Analysis to drive
Corrective Action and Preventive Action.
• Drive strategies resulting in optimal business
methods and practices for strengthening the
Quality Management System and talent
development.
• Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team
and cross functionally to ensure compliance and
continuous improvement.
• Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and
Fire Control policies and procedures.

This position is in Arlington, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above, or
equivalent experience/combined education
• Strong understanding of engineering
requirements and mechanical and electrical
inspection methods - ability to interpret
drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes,
and related Performance Metrics
• Capable of performing root cause analysis and
identifying solutions to complex problems
utilizing causal analysis tools. This activity is applicable for both product and business processes
• Must be able to effectively communicate and
interact with Quality Management, Program
Generally has 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
• Experience with tooling and test equipment manufacturing
Desired Skills:
• STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above
• Strong organizational and communication skills
with the capability to work in a dynamic
environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal
direct supervision
• High energy, self-starting, team player who
achieves goals. Proven ability to resolve complex
technical issues
• Experience as a team lead and facilitator
• Experience with AS9100, AS9102, J-STD-001,
and IPC-610 interpretation and application
experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
