Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be a Planning, Production Control Manager at our Archbald, PA facility, supporting the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for delivering products that play a critical role in national security, and we are looking for a talented leader to join our team and contribute to our mission.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Planning, Production Control Manager, you will report to site senior leadership with responsibility for providing strategic leadership and performance management for all support activities associated with production planning, scheduling, and material. You will lead a team of production planners and material handlers, and will be responsible for the Production Control discipline across the site, including business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and employee development.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading a team of production planners and material handlers to ensure effective production planning, scheduling, and material handling
• Developing and implementing business processes, methods, and practices for production operations
• Analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize production performance
• Communicating effectively with all levels of management and presenting team performance in program, customer, and operations leadership reviews
• Executing for the overall contracted strategy and formulating plans for mitigating risks
• Planning, organizing, developing, and integrating program-level efforts and implementing processes, methods, and practices for business operations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Production/Production Control Processes and Procedures
• Inventory Management Experience
• Significant Experience with SAP
• Experience reporting cost, schedule, and technical data/results to various levels of leadership, internal and external
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and therefore must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience utilizing Apriso
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledgeable on data analytics/tools
• Strong background in all processes of Business Operations
• Candidate willing and able to engage on routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions
• Risk identification and management experience
• Green Belt Certification
• Previous Leadership experience for both Salaried and Exempt employees
• Talent development and mentoring/coaching
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
