You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Prodocution Operations team. Our team is responsible for overseeing all electro‑mechanical activities during second‑shift hours, meeting safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets for multiple programs.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Supervisor on second shift, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team to deliver safe, high‑quality production on schedule while controlling costs.



Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Manage a second shift team to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives for multiple programs.

  • Resolve conflicts, build trust, and motivate employees to maintain a high‑performing work environment.

  • Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities across work cells and production processes.

  • Collaborate with engineering to update work instructions, plan new production areas, and enhance existing cells.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards while supervising electro‑mechanical operations
  • Typical hours for Second shift are approximately 4pm to 2:30am, Monday‑Thursday, with overtime as needed. Ability to work outside of standard schedule hours is required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.


Basic Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree and or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques.
• Microsoft office suite knowledge and skills.
• Ability to track and manage Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost, in a manufacturing environment.
• Driven performance to meet established daily rates and program milestones for product delivery.
• Ability to define problems, collect data and make the necessary improvements.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to work additional time outside of normal work schedule.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Auto CAD.
• Knowledge of IPC-620 and J-Std.
• Lean Green Belt/6 Sigma certification.
• Performance Management Team experience .
• Prior/Current manufacturing experience.
• Root Cause Analysis .
• Ability to develop assembly aids/tools.
• Familiar with LM systems like, Apriso, SAP and LM People.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
