THE WORK
TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.

WHO YOU ARE
• You're a Systems Engineer with strong leadership skills, and able to lead a dynamic, multi-vender team of ~90 FTEs.
• You are an expert communicator who can direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas. You will serve as the main point of contact for the program's branch leadership (chiefs and TDs) about staffing, performance issues, personnel issues, technical issues, as well as future/direction of the branches
• You are a proactive and dedicated professional with a passion for motivating teams toward success. Through effective guidance, you will play a crucial role in motivating your team to ensure projects are implemented within specified schedules and budgets.
• You are able to effectively prioritize tasks and are an effective communicator, by ensuring work schedules are adhered to and issues are quickly addressed in a timely fashion.
• You are well-versed in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe.

Basic Qualifications:
• A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty (24) years of general systems engineering experience

OR

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

• A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

Required Skills:
• Experience leading teams of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment
• Experience in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe
• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of customer architecture, data normalization/standardization, and/or customer’s corporate data formats
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
