The RK program team supports the US Cyber Command (USCC) to design and integrate a unified modern scalable architecture for a Forensic and Malware Exploitation Enterprise (FMEE). We design and deploy enterprise-level cyber tools for the ingest and analysis of potential malware. The system performs collection, triage, collaborative examination, conversion and command & control. As part of our team, you will design, develop, test and deploy complex systems that directly support the USCC mission needs.

Network Engineer shall support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to CANS/WANS/LANs/VLANs. Shall schedule and perform network maintenance, perform installation configuration and repairs, and support certification and accreditation activities. Support all LAN- based applications, routers, firewalls, VOIP and Ethernet technology; support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to CANS/WANS/LANs/VLANs; and support all LAN- based applications, routers, firewalls, VOIP and Ethernet technology. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Basic Qualifications:
- Eight years demonstrated experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements.
- Four years demonstrated experience in network installation including high bandwidth data transfer.
- Four years demonstrated experience administering CANS/WANS/LANS/VLANS.
- Four years demonstrated experience administering classified networks.
- Four years demonstrated experience with protocols and network troubleshooting.
- Four years demonstrated experience with network visualization tools (e.g., Visio).
- Two years demonstrated experience leading teams on small to mid-size network engineering activities.

A Bachelor’s Degree in telecommunications, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six years’ experience.

DoD 8570 compliance – at minimum, IAT Category, Level II.
Desired Skills:
- Experience providing input to the design of network architectures, configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditations, and support certification and accreditation activities.
- Experience supporting mission architecture to include power distribution and support systems (HVAC/UPS) and integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations
