Staff Software Engineer

Description:This position will be primarily supporting at Sandia National Laboratory on Kirkland AFB. Travel is expected.
Come be a part of the development of the new Hypersonic Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) weapon. This new multi-platform launched weapon system will include phases progressing through design, flight test, initial production and deployment of the weapon system. Join the Lockheed Martin team and be a part of the company that has developed and flown more hypersonic vehicles than any other U.S. Company and has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience from government contracts as well as internal investments in research and development projects. Candidate will be a Hardware in the loop software engineer and for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) designing and developing flight software and integrating Hardware in the Loop Testbed (HWIL) used to for the weapon system.
Basic Qualifications:
• Previous C++
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent team orientation
• HW testbed experience
• DOD secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Previous real-time and embedded software development experience
• Experience developing and testing HWIL testbed software and software
• Agile processes
• Full development lifecycle experience
• Familiar with missile vehicle avionics hardware
