Description:Seeking a skilled and motivated security representative associate manager with strong special access program experience and knowledge to perform in the role of Security Operations Manager reporting to the F-35 Site Security Manager. This position is located at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS)Yuma, Arizona, and will support the F-35 program. The successful candidate will perform in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment to ensure execution of security policy and procedure aligns with published DoD Directives and manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, and local guidelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Working with the local government security team to enhance the overall F-35 program security posture by participating in and providing oversight to multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).

Responsible for employee recruitment, performance management, work assignments, recognition/disciplinary actions, etc.

Provide support, training, and guidance to F-35 security team for Program Security Officer (PSO) established priorities and tasking.

Act as a liaison between PSOs and F-35 security team.

Ensure regular scheduling and coverage for SAP facilities, as required by local PSOs.

Train and prepare newly joined Security Generalists for their final supported location aboard MCAS Yuma.

Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Develop, implement, and modify security operating policies for F-35 activities within the simulator facility.

Establish and maintain relationships with geographically dispersed internal and external customers.

Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to F-35 security issues communicating observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.

This is primarily a 1st Shift position; but mission events may require 1st or 2nd shift work and/or a non-standard work schedule to support mission requirements that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 6 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
4. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
5. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
6. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of F-35 program security requirements.
2. Experience working with SAP security requirements in a fighter squadron SAP facility.
3. Experience working in a military environment; prior experience with the United States Marine Corps.
4. Prior experience teaching / instructing.
5. Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
6. Demonstrated self-starter with initiative
7. Ability to solve complex problems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
