Description:This Enterprise Operations (EO) position reports to the Vice President, Lockheed Martin, Marine Corps Programs. The successful candidate will support the Navy & Marine Corps team within Lockheed Martin Government Affairs. He/she will be responsible for the business development of and interaction with LM Business Areas, the Marine Corps, and the products that support USMC ground, logistics, command & control, and aviation programs: tactical aircraft, helicopters, maritime aircraft, precision strike weapons, irregular warfare; unmanned systems and avionics systems. Day to day activities include planning and coordinating customer and internal presentations as well as providing support and coordinating senior executive meetings with Marine Corps General officers, program managers, and civilian leadership. The successful candidate will be able to work as a team member within Lockheed Martin Government Affairs to ensure effective interaction with senior customers within the Marine Corps at both the Headquarters and Fleet Marine Force levels nationally.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in identifying customer requirements; shaping requirements; developing new business strategies and execution plans; proven record of growing/winning business.
- Be able to perform as a day-to-day liaison between Marine Corps Systems Command, Combat Development & Integration Command, Naval Air Systems Command program offices and Business Area program directors/managers.
- Comprehensive background in Marine Corps Systems Command, Headquarters Marine Corps, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) processes and relationships. Knowledge and experience with leadership and management of DOD, Joint, Navy and Marine Corps ground, logistics, command and control, & aviation acquisition programs.
- Perform as subject matter expert by staying current on political and Navy-Marine Corps developments impacting current and future programs.
Desired Skills:
- Previous Marine Corps acquisition experience.
- Ability to formulate business growth strategies
- Knowledge and experience with leadership and management of DOD, Joint, Navy and Marine Corps ground, logistics, command and control, & aviation acquisition programs.
